Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

FeedsMe is run by Eli Kramer, 244 Rt 306, Monsey, NY 10952, United States ("we"), who is responsible for your data. You can reach us at contact@feedsme.app.

This policy explains what FeedsMe collects when you use it, why, who processes it, and how to get it deleted. FeedsMe has no ads and no tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

How it is stored and who processes it

These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States. Each processes it only to provide its service to us.

Your browser also keeps a copy of your feeds, posts and read/starred state (in local storage and IndexedDB) so FeedsMe opens quickly. Signing out or deleting your account clears it from that browser.

Gmail (beta)

If you connect Gmail, FeedsMe asks Google for permission to read your emails and change their labels (gmail.modify). It uses it only to:

Your emails are loaded directly from Google into your browser. They are never sent to FeedsMe's servers or stored in FeedsMe's database; a copy is kept only on your device, like your other posts. FeedsMe doesn't send, delete or move emails. The access Google gives lasts an hour; you can remove it at any time in your Google Account (Security → Third-party connections), and removing the Gmail feed stops FeedsMe from loading your emails.

FeedsMe's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Other email accounts (IMAP)

If you add an email account over IMAP (for example Yahoo, iCloud or your own domain), you give FeedsMe your email address, your mail server and an app password for it. The app password is kept only on the device where you entered it. Each time FeedsMe loads that mailbox, or you mark an email read or starred, it sends the account details to FeedsMe's server over an encrypted connection, and the server connects to your mail server to fetch your newest emails' text or change their read and flagged status. The server doesn't store or log your password or your emails; they exist there only for that request. Removing the account from your feeds deletes the password from your device, and you can revoke the app password with your email provider at any time.

Content from other sites

FeedsMe's server fetches your feeds from the sites you subscribe to. Those sites see a request from FeedsMe, not from you. Pictures and videos in posts mostly load directly from their original sites (for example news sites, YouTube or Reddit), so those sites can see your IP address and browser, as they would if you visited them. Their own privacy policies apply.

Why we use your data

Only to provide FeedsMe: to sign you in, keep your feeds and posts in sync, answer your messages, and keep the service secure and working. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is performing our agreement with you (providing the service you signed up for) and our legitimate interest in running and securing it.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

Children
