Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
FeedsMe is run by Eli Kramer, 244 Rt 306, Monsey, NY 10952, United States ("we"), who is responsible for your data. You can reach us at contact@feedsme.app.
This policy explains what FeedsMe collects when you use it, why, who processes it, and how to get it deleted. FeedsMe has no ads and no analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Your Google account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account ID. We use them to identify your account and to show who is signed in. We never see your Google password.
- Your feeds. The feeds you add (their name, platform and address) and when you added them.
- Posts from your feeds. Posts we fetch from your feeds are saved to your account, so they load quickly and sync across your devices.
- What you've read and starred. Which posts you marked as read and which you starred.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, time and the page or API called) to run and protect the service.
How it is stored and who processes it
- Google (Firebase / Google Cloud) provides sign-in and stores your account data, feeds, posts and read/starred state, and contact messages.
- Vercel hosts the app and its server.
- Slack or email: contact messages may be forwarded to our Slack workspace or email inbox so we can answer them.
These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States. Each processes it only to provide its service to us.
Your browser also keeps a copy of your feeds, posts and read/starred state (in local storage and IndexedDB) so FeedsMe opens quickly. Signing out or deleting your account clears it from that browser.
Content from other sites
FeedsMe's server fetches your feeds from the sites you subscribe to. Those sites see a request from FeedsMe, not from you. Pictures and videos in posts mostly load directly from their original sites (for example news sites, YouTube or Reddit), so those sites can see your IP address and browser, as they would if you visited them. Their own privacy policies apply.
Why we use your data
Only to provide FeedsMe: to sign you in, keep your feeds and posts in sync, answer your messages, and keep the service secure and working. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is performing our agreement with you (providing the service you signed up for) and our legitimate interest in running and securing it.
How long we keep it
- Saved posts that you haven't starred are deleted automatically after 15 days. Starred posts are kept until you unstar them or delete your account.
- Your account, feeds, and read/starred state are kept until you delete them or your account.
- Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time: open the account menu (your picture, top right) and choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your feeds, saved posts, read and starred state, and your FeedsMe sign-in.
- You can also ask us, via the contact form, to see a copy of your data, correct it, or delete contact messages you sent. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to your data protection authority.
Children
FeedsMe is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
